Indiana Jack has been making films and videos since 1978 when a friend of his borrowed money and couldn't pay him back so he gave him an 8mm Bell and Howell movie camera to pay off the debt. Jack's philosophy now is never loan a friend money, you never know what you're going to get in return.
In the last 30 or so years Jack has written, produced, and directed several plays, a musical, numerous films, hundreds of wedding videos and a few drama adventure videos. Trucking is the latest passion so why not combine the two for double the fun. He admits he would rather NOT be in front of the camera especially in trucking because of the focus and attention it requires. Rarely will you see a shot when he is driving and shooting at the same time unless it's a shot mounted from his dash-cam.
He shoots with a Canon VIXIA HFS20 consumer pro video camera which delivers spectacular quality video although you-tube and the Internet doesn't do it justice.
In a recent conversation with a friend he complained not knowing whether to be an owner-operator trucker or to get back in to making films and videos, his friend simply said "you gotta follow your heart, Jack." 6 months later he bought a camera and started working on the Indiana Jack project you see today. So the answer is, trucker/filmmaker.
